Just Another Day

It is 1812 and the battle to prevent Napoleon Bonaparte conquering the Iberian Peninsula goes on:- After the arduous siege of Ciudad Rodrigo, Will Tucker and Lady Megan Camberwell hope to have a few months’ respite from the perils of war but it is not to be. Megan and her friends are captured by the French and Will goes to their rescue alone, right into the heart of Badajoz, a seemingly impregnable fortified city and Wellington’s next destination. Danger is around every corner and Will finds himself with other unexpected responsibilities as he attempts to rescue his girl. This is the second in the trilogy, that tells the story of a London pickpocket and an aristocratic girl as they make their way through Spain during the Peninsula War.
