Collected Poems

Sitting on the coffee table in John Diego’s living room, was a book of poems written by his wife, Julia Diego. She had written poems throughout her life. There are poems about her family, poems for friends, poems for school and social events, poems for when she need to express herself and my favorite, her annual Christmas poem. Later in her life, she collected all the poems and put them in a three ring binder. That is how they ended up on the coffee table.
