Beautiful Mess

"Beautiful Mess" is a collection of journals and letters that attempt to tell my story beginning in elementary school and continues through my young adult life. This project began as a response to my mom's encouragement over several years (a decade perhaps) to publish some of my journals. At first, I thought she was just being crazy-mom-who-thinks-her-daughter-is-good-enough-to-do-anything. Over the past year, I found myself transitioning in a major way in my young career. I had a seeming abundance of "extra time". And so I finally decided I could at least type up some of my old journals for the posterity of my current (and future) family. Throughout my creation process, I began to really believe this book might be beneficial for people outside my family as well. I am eternally grateful for all of the people who have journeyed with me through this life. Through their support and companionship and challenges I have been blessed to experience and create a beautiful (though still messy) life.
