Liam Marshall's collected works is a ruthless, calculated torching of the reality we all barely live with as we tell ourselves it's normal. The language code switches between humor and fury, sincerity and irony, like it was born to it and the breadth of subject matter covered---serotonin and Alexandria, bullet holes and rock and roll---is as virtuosic as it is misleading.
