The first volume of the 'runwaystaR' trilogy — an epic drama in versified dialogue, described as 'boperap' (bop + opera + rap). Set in a parallel cosmos that's transitioning from 'Treek' (Greek / 'Star Trek') idealism to the space-age imperialism of 'ROM', 'runwaystaR' follows the heroine's journey of Lharcene Cru-Sado, also known as the AnTzone girl, who recovers from celebrity scandal in order to become a successful 'modL', and then to compete in the intergalactic Ozoompics, a mythological contest that rewards the Runwaystar with a kind of immortality, known as 'celestity'. Illustrated throughout, and conceived for performance, 'runwaystaR' is unlike anything else in classical or contemporary literature.
