It is simply a day not one American will ever be able to forget. For most of us, we must look at news coverage to even begin to understand the horror, the disbelief, and the incredible damage and sadness this senseless, hateful attack on America actually was. In this story, September 11, the author captures it so precisely, I felt like I was in the midst of this terrifying chaos. From the view of a Russian immigrant, recalling at the same time the horrors and unconscionable attitudes of the Russian government when anything similar happened to their people, the woman finds gratitude in living in such a generous, gracious, country America stands to be forever. The author’s eyewitness accounts, describing helpless feelings, the fear and the panic each person involved in this tragedy, is so spot on. Excellent content.
