Leaving Steven Marks

Steven Marks represents of our dark side. He is the monster in all of us that takes many forms. For some he is the gambler inside, for others he is the cheater; he is the dirty little secret, the addiction, or the sexual encounter that you had in the bathroom after a night of drinking. He is our demon, our baggage, and our skeleton in the closets. By naming my demon, I gave him a face. This made it easier to overcome and defeat him. I imagine Steven Marks to possess the qualities of the modern vampire. He is the mysterious, strong, seductive, and provocative. He entices with his words and compels me. He is poisonous, and once he really gets his teeth into you, he has the ability to drain you dry. Steven leaves his Marks for all to see.
