The comic trope of the gorgeous-but-brainless model-type was common throughout the Golden Age of comics, but Dotty didn't fit that mold... Yes, she was beautiful, and maybe she was not genius, but she didn't go around doing dumb things... dumb things just seemed to happen around her. Dotty had quite a challenge keeping up with all the missteps in her world, as well as all the aggressive suitors vying for her time and her attention. This chaos made for great stories! Created, written and drawn by comic master Al Hartley (best known for his Archie work), Dotty was a true breath of fresh air in comic humor. DOTTY appeared as a guest in Hap Hazard Comics, Vicki Comics, and took over Four Teeners to make it her own title for a while. We're bringing you all her stories (and a few of her friends) in two funny volumes, plus an all-in-one Giant.
