On a sunny day, sun rays peeped through trees' leaves, and every living thing wanted to catch a ray for survival. On extreme sunny days, they all yearned for some water, and it was all magic when it did rain. From the time to days, months and years, it was all magic how everything happened. Nobody seemed to understand, but we were all with nature's rhythm. Nothing went to the extreme, and all living things enjoyed. These are the memories of how everything happened majestically during my childhood. My name is Miriam Sharpe, and I was born in Jamaica. As an innocent child, everything was magic until I gained a conscience. I migrated to the United States at 22, where I am a nanny. I was inspired to write fairytale stories by comparing my childhood magic time and interacting with the children that I look after. In 2014, I met an adorable, down-to-earth price through his cousin, for whom I work. It is a family that every nanny would like to work for. I believe that interaction with an actual prince in real life, always being with children most of my time, and experiencing my magical childhood are not by luck. They are all events proving my desire to venture into fairytales writing. I am a mother of three, and blessings have been on my side because I have two grandchildren. With children knowing much nowadays, I wonder if they experience childhood as me or if it is different. Fairytales are essential stories for childhood. They are more than just happily ever after. They portray real moral lessons through characters and virtue shown in the stories. They captivate the imagination of young minds and enhance their creativity and reasoning skills. A child learns a lot by simply listening to or reading these fantastic stories. Being read to them by their parents creates a special parent-child bond. Although fairytales may bring children to fantasy land, the teachings in these stories remain in their minds and hearts forever. The many benefits of fairy tales include early literacy development, building resilience in kids, and acquiring positive problem-solving skills.
