CONNECTIONS is written as a tribute to my birthplace (the Toombs House) which was formerly Rehoboth then Bethany Baptist Church and later reorganized in 1915 as Rock Springs Baptist Church. It then became rental property and my parents lived there when I was born in 1941. The building held important historical significance to the Creek Indians, Tukabahchi, early settlers and the communities that grew around the church's location.
