Papa Lee is the happy grandfather of seven grandchildren. Tom Rather’s Christmas Tale was written for them. Lee served as a soldier and paratrooper with the 2nd battalion Royal Canadian Regiment and some of Tom Rather’s story is shared with the author’s own experiences.
