The First Men

The First Men, by Paul Grainger, tells of the first fully modern humans as they leave their African cradle after a series of unfortunate events and absurd adventures, some 40,000 years ago. They ultimately come into contact with the Neanderthals, the ancient “Ice People” of Europe, where further unfortunate events and absurd adventures explain the mystery of the subsequent demise of these archetypal “cave men”. A fine selection of caves is included. Although historically as accurate as a Swiss watch, you are advised not to use this fine book for serious study for any form of qualification beyond the basic.
