Apartment Life

Entering your first apartment for the first time turns into nostalgia as the years pass. You feel lucky and proud to call your apartment home. You spend time decorating your new home: you paint the walls peach, you put in a fluffy beige carpet and colourful rugs and you fill it with knicks and knacks. You forever clean and find freedom in your mini palace. Years and years go by and you move into your first house. And you miss your old apartment. You move on yet live in the past. Always wishing you were back there, in a time of innocence and faith. But memories never fade and we learn to appreciate the everyday and our lives as older people.
