‘Milligan’s Blog’ is a novel approach to the old style joke book. Michael Milligan (aged15) keeps an ‘on line’ diary and combining this diary with a joke book results in a work which is similar in style to ‘The Secret Diaries of Adrian Mole’ but filled with jokes, limericks, puns, word play and much more with the characters acting out the jokes in their daily lives. Milligan’s dad is the local nerd; the vicar has such big balls he thinks he’s a canon and the local judge, Justice Dick, doesn’t have any at all. Watch out for Eric Bugg, the school comedian or take a trip to Clancey’s café or Murphy’s pub to find some of the many other colourful characters who are to be found in this book.
