Strategic Air Command Nuclear Bombers

The idea of a nuclear war between the major powers in the second decade of the new millennium seems remote but there was a time immediately post-WW 2 and throughout the decades of the 'Cold War' that USAF Strategic Air Command maintained a huge arsenal of nuclear weapons to be carried aloft by a large fleet of bombers dedicated to delivery of high yield tactical warheads to the Soviets and their Warpac allies.
