Science is wonderful, and in the not too distant future, who knows what will be possible? When a brilliant, lonely, gay teen needs a friend, but he lives in a tiny, isolated community in the arctic, what are his choices? When a mysterious class becomes available on his home educational terminal, he can't pass up the incredible offer. The course is on a forbidden subject: Biocloning. Despite the sanctions and laws against it, his education terminal is offering it - with some very unusual stipulations. With the right technology and the right knowledge, perhaps he can create a friend he can trust? Maybe even someone who is more than a friend?
