A soon-to-be-retired Engineer on his last job assignment misses his flight, only to find out someone who looks exactly like him with valid credentials is on board. The flight crashes with no survivors. A missing journal with notes of two previous encounters with a look-a-like is recovered and returned to him. Inside the journal is a letter addressed to him with a surprising conclusion.
