Sid Spider - A Level One Phonics Reader

Sid Spider loves to study space. In this level one phonics book, he discovers something very strange when he first looks into the eyepiece of the telescope. I wonder what it is? He solves the mystery and then looks into space to see stars, moon and comets. Sid Spider had his birth as a Happy character in 1996 when we had an idea for a book called: Sidney Spider Studies Space. He appeared on our early visual version of the Read Along Ranch Map in his observatory in the desert. Today, this short, phonics story about Sidney allows young readers to use their imagination and go with him as he explores the magic of the sky above. Our Phonics Readers use a limited number of words to tell a story, depending on colorful illustrations to fill in the details.
