Are human rights fundamental and ‘inalienable’ or
are they more limited? What if rights are over-emphasized to the exclusion of other considerations, and what if too much ‘rights talk’ only exacerbates conflict rather than resolving it? What is the difference between freedom and liberty, and in what sense are people equal if they are all so different? These and other questions are discussed in this short study.
