The Enigma of Melchizedek

Melchizedek is, by far, the most elusive of Biblical figures that we read about. He appears suddenly in the pages of Scripture and disappears just as quickly. The appearance of his name in the inspired record is limited, to say the least, and yet, the writer to the Hebrews could say, “we have many things to say…” While it may be true that little is recorded of the man, we encounter many references to this intriguing individual throughout the pages of the Old Testament.
