Angela Benet was your normal, average American teenager. She had more friends then should could count and a great relationship with her mother and her sister, Katie. As Angela continued to enter her early teens she began to feel a change in herself. She didn't want to be around the same group of people anymore and she slowly began to isolate herself from the people that cared about her the most. Angela's mother claimed that it was only a faze she was going through and that she would eventually out grow this stage in her life. Angela had to learn the hard way that it wasn't just your normal teenage faze. Angela began drinking and taking drugs and by the time she entered her late teens she became severly depressed. Angela watches as everything she has worked so hard for falls to pieces as she struggles with a rape, drug addictions and self-mutilation. Angela makes a drastic attempt to find help as she starts to realize that maybe you have to fall before you can begin to pick yourself back up.
