This book is for those who want to be real about their feelings. It is for those who have felt as if living for Jesus was a punishment and not a reward. I want to encourage you to not judge your feelings. Don’t feel bad for feeling bad. Know that the God who allowed it to be brought to you is the same God who is indeed with you. Your hope may feel buried beyond restoration, but God is in the pain. He will resurrect your hope and restore your joy again.
