RIVERRAT RECIPES College is tough; cooking shouldn’t be. Lovingly collected by the faculty and staff of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) – including many alumni – to welcome incoming students, RIVERRAT RECIPES offers a contemporary twist on time-tested favorites that served the contributors well during their college years and beyond. From “Oh, No! I have to go to a party in 3 hours” to breakfast, lunch and dinner fare, the recipes are easily prepared, with inexpensive ingredients adaptable for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. The appetizers, sides, salads, main courses, pastas and desserts are sure to be a hit with palates of all ages! The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design is Wisconsin’s only independent, non-profit college of art and design, conferring the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, the most highly regarded degree in the visual arts that is accredited by regional, state and national accrediting bodies.
