Burns and Becoming

Kalika comes face to face with every woman's worst nightmare when the horrendous acid gets thrown on her face, and by someone whom she had loved and trusted in the past. There was nothing left to live for, she felt as good as dead. Yet somehow she picked herself up, she became an inspiration and she picked others up. This story attempts to portray three generations of women over the ages. The first generation that succumbed to their fate, the second that fought for themselves and the third, that fought for fellow sisters.
