In this novella, the author is investing a back-drop actual with romanesque garnitures, offering upon this wise the reader a sympathetical, amicable story. The work is practically being articulated in two environments: In the first one has essentially the life of our protagonistess's mother, the one of her first husband, as well as the childhood of her herself the leading role. In the second one, the roaring and scandalous living in the wake across Europe and Syria of the central figure of our narrative, of this femme fatale, rolling-stone sinneress, Jane Digby, and which marked decisively the 19th century and consecrated her as an icon amongst the destinies of the track of the times. In sum, a scenario of literary scenes, a constellation of dramatical developments that surely don't be leaving untouched, uncarried away, and unimpressed the reader.
