How To Commit Karaoke In The First Degree, Revision 2026

This is a revision of the book, How to Commit Karaoke in the First Degree, which I wrote in 2011. The original had little or nothing about the digital karaoke age. It still probably only grazes the surface. I've recently restarted my karaoke and have discovered that it just simply isn't what it used to be. In some ways CD's were easier to use but in many ways they were more difficult. Now days you can put thousands of karaoke songs or even hundreds of thousands of karaoke songs on a single laptop. You can run your whole show off that laptop if you want. I'm an old fart and using some of the software out there can be intimidating. There's a lot in here about karaoke and my experiences at shows.
