Many Sonnets

She left me with no alternative, So what could I do but give in? She did not find this offensive And agreed that it wasn’t a sin. How stupid of me not to realize That this was a subterfuge And that the temptation to memorize Every one of her moves was huge. In the end I came up with my own move And I must say, she was surprised. We may travel all day in the one groove And before anyone has realized That the captain has fallen asleep, Overboard go the wolves and the sheep.
