The first 8 issues of JUMBO COMICS were published in a B&W format, but not always with white or off-white pages. The pages were often a sepia or dark color, which when converted to strict B&W/greyscale results in a difficult-to-read page. We have opted to reprint the first two volumes of the collection using a color process, which we believe makes a better book
