David Stutzman started backpacking when he was a child and has hiked for over 60 years. His experiences in reducing backpacker loads and living in nature's world are summed up Ultralight Backpacking in Nature's World & the 2014 edition. It is designed for both the novice and experienced backpacker. He has hike in the U.S., Europe and Japan. David spent most of his adult life in the Army Corps of Engineers. He enlisted in 1966 and received a commission in 1967. He served in the 82nd Airborne, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam& multiple assignments including a total of ten years in command at company, battalion, group and brigade level. Soldiers' Stories is a collection over many years of war stories from members of all branches of the military.
