Gwendolyn Cahill, was born in New York City and raised in Mount Vernon, NY. After a successful career in child welfare and health care, Gwen retired. She currently resides in East Henrico, Virginia. Gwen is the owner of Literary Pearls. Cruising to One reflects upon the comical moments in the first year of my grandson’s life. Gwen is the mother of twins. She graduated from The College of New Rochelle’s graduate degree program in Communication Studies in 2012. She received her undergraduate degree of the University of Hartford Mass Communications undergraduate degree program in 1980. Children’s television was her favorite undergraduate course. Her fond love for humor and cartoons is reflected in this whimsical romp down memory lane. Gwen’s creativity writings have matured since her enrollment in Masterclasses.
