I live in beautiful New Zealand on the mountainous Central Plateau with my wife on a small lifestyle block. It had always been my dream to write a novel and Black Dove is the first of a quilogy (4). The theme of these is around Martial Arts and specifically Ninjutsu. The latter I regularly travel to Japan to study with my teacher Masaaki Hatsumi, 34th Soke of the Togakure Ryu. I currently hold a 10th Dan Black Belt in the Bujinkan Dojo. Having studied these and other martial arts for over 45 years, I wanted to portray the real side of the Ninja and their origins. I have also written several books on spirituality and the warrior path. I only hope you enjoy reading these books as much as I do in writing them.
