Charles Towne
Charles Towne is a retired aerospace engineer, with 39 years of service at the NASA Lewis (now Glenn) Research Center working on the development and application of computer programs for the analysis of air flow through jet engine inlets and nozzles. During his time there he authored/co-authored 28 papers and reports, and contributed material to two books on computational fluid dynamics. He first became interested in family history as a child, after reading a family story about a Union soldier who supposedly shot an officer who was being cruel to his men. He is the author of "The Family of Philip Burlingham and Polly Babcock," "The Family of George Abbot and Nancy Stickney," and "The Family of Anthony Morse and Huldah Taylor." He and his wife Jane have two children and three grandchildren, and live in Brecksville, Ohio.
