Casey Horan is a Phoenix native born in 1990. As a relatively young writer, Casey enjoys to create stories with the motivation of NANOWRIMO and would like to donate a portion of the proceeds of each book sale to the organization so that younger writers can continue to have a safe place to create and share stories. The purpose of novel writing month is to write 50,000 or more words in thirty or fewer days. Redwood Nation's fist draft was completed in twenty days for example, and contains slightly over 51,000 words. Casey hopes that the stories to come will help to inspire other authors, and encourages anyone to reach outside their comfort zone to share in the experience.
