David was born to Oklahoman parents and moved about due to his father’s profession, a contract tool designer. David has lived in ten states and counts some of his life lessons from this diversity. As a teenager David was active in Scouting and earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1972. David Graduated from High School in Midland Michigan and shortly after entered military service with the U. S. Army. Serving in the Infantry in Europe, David met the love of his life, Manuela. In 1976 David represented the United States at the Vierdaagse, The International Four Days Marches in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. A four day, 50 kilometer per day march while carrying at least 10 kilograms of dead weight to represent a fully loaded field pack. David and Manuela were married by a priest from the country island of Malta in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Indian Mission in Dewey Oklahoma in 1977. They raised two fine sons in Douglass Kansas. David Works as a Certified Manufacturing Engineer in Aviation.
