Alec Lembecker was born on January 8th, 1992 in Minneapolis, MN. The Minneapolis Children's Hospital is where Lembecker would spend the majority of his childhood, after being born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. In Alec's author debut, Born with a Broken Heart, Lembecker details his medical battles and history, social struggles and world views. In his spare time, Lembecker enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, videography and music & movies. Being Minnesota-born, Alec's favorite teams consist of the Vikings and Timberwolves. Alec also is a fan of multiple Florida sports teams including the Gators and Marlins. Lembecker currently resides in the Twin Cities suburbs.
