Jamie O’Rourke is a Scottish poet who writes primarily about working class life and the queer experience. He is a committed socialist, and spends the time he finds between the workplace and the picket line reading and writing poetry. He was born and raised in Bellshill, and graduated from Glasgow University in 2024. His Undergraduate Disertation - Internationale 2024 - was an interlinked collection of political poems, and recieved an A grade. He has been published in a variety of publications including From Glasgow to Saturn and Rough Diamond Press.
