Dr. Edelia J. Carthan, former teenage mom and "Young Ph.D.," writes Christian book to motivate youth. Dr. Carthan is an author, motivational speaker, professor, and businesswoman. She is President & CEO of Carthan Enterprises, Inc. Carthan Enterprises, Inc. provides training, tutoring, and talent management for diverse students, businesses, organizations, and educators. Dr. Carthan is the founder of Camp Fabulous, which is a 7 day Christian Camp for girls ages 7 - 17 who are looking to have a fabulous time learning about life in a Christian environment. Dr. Carthan's goal is to teach and inspire young minds throughout Mississippi, the United States and abroad. She is a native of Tchula, Mississippi and she has one son, "EJ" who is a junior and is the quarterback at Terry High School.
