An over-cover agent for the divine, Jeff had glimpses of his soul-scriptures throughout his lfe- criminal defence lawyer, psychotherapist, author... He became a lawyer in Toronto in 1993, after apprenticing with famous Canadian Criminal Lawyer Eddie Greenspan. After hearing an inner voice calling him away from law, Jeff began an adventure in self-excavation and expansion that lasted 15 years, culminating in the clarified call to write Soulshaping. He spent over six years at it, then refused a significant contractual offer to publish it, prefering instead to self-publish on his own terms. Soon thereafter, his first press run sold out, helped in large part by a homeless man who sold it on the streets of Toronto. It was quickly picked up by North Atlantic Books and a new edition was released in August, 2009, distributed by Random House. As time has passed, it has become clear that SOULSHAPING represents a model of Grounded spirtuality that speaks to individuals from all walks on life.
