Jurnee M. Jordan-Miller is a bright and creative 10-year-old author. She loves all things girly—sparkles, dresses, all things that shine—and celebrating her cultural heritage. She enjoys expressing herself through storytelling, affirmations and art. Inspired by the affirmations spoken over her by her family and the rich cultural traditions passed down through generations, Jurnee wrote All The Sparkles That Made Me to encourage other young girls to embrace their beauty, brillance and strength. She believes the tradition of speaking positive Affirmations are the sparkles that have made her who she is becoming. Through her words she hopes to inspire other children—especially young girls—to feel confident, proud of their culture, and comfortable being who they are. When she isn’t writing, Jurnee enjoys reading, drawing, doing gymnastics flips, playing in makeup at her vanity and spending time with her family. She also enjoys spreading kindness and positivity wherever she goes.
