In addition to homeschooling four children through high school (including one with special needs associated with Down syndrome), Kim has worked as a counsellor/teacher for troubled children at a therapeutic wilderness camp in the Florida Everglades and as a teacher’s assistant at a private school in San Diego. She is the author of 'Never Ceasing: God’s Faithfulness in Grief'.
