Kate MacDonald is an award-winning author, blogger and film-maker. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in publications around the world. Her work has been called "vibrant", "masterful" and "heartfelt", but also "paranoid", "disturbing" and "perplexing". Her dream-like tales skirt the boundaries of various genres- fantasy, horror and more traditional literary drama- often riddled with humour as dark as the coffee that keeps her alive. Hailing originally from the fog-enshrouded coast of eastern Canada, she now resides in Montreal with her husband and their family of cats.
