Bree Smith

Bree has always had a great desire to help people in any way possible, which began as a child, when her family would frequently volunteer in her hometown in Northwest Indiana. After high school, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and continued on to receive a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW-Healthcare) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, IL. She has utilized her skills in various settings including homeless shelters, hospitals, community centers and high schools. In 2007, Bree was introduced to the world of holistic wellness and a passion was ignited within. Her heart grieved for those who were broken, hurt, mentally and physically bound, and she was compelled to make a difference, one divine appointment at a time. In 2014, Bree graduated from Joseph Business School in Forest Park, IL, and much of the curriculum developed during that time, was developed after overcoming many of her own health challenges and targets the spirit, soul and body of the whole person. During her elementary years, she was given a journal by her mother, as a way to battle a season of low self-esteem and depression. Through this, a love for poetry developed and Bree self-published a book of poetry in 2007 entitled, “Up in my room: Words from my heart”, as well as RESET: A Beginner's guide to transitioning to a healthier lifestyle. Both books can be found on Lulu.com.
