My favorite hobbies are designing crochet patterns and photography. I was taught the basic crochet stitches when I was six years old, and later I realized I could design and write my own patterns. (My booklet of crochet tips is a wonderful addition to anyone's crochet library. Plus I have a booklet here that has instructions for my Hairpin Lace Masterpieces consisting of a doily, collar, and a tablecloth. I designed the doily first in one afternoon due to hairpin lace patterns were scarce and I was wanting a doily made with hairpin lace.)
