Dr Richard Pearson PhD FRAS was born and raised in Nottingham and has worked in local newspapers as a journalist for over 20 years. A Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, he has written several books on astronomy and is formally the presenter of the TV program Astronomy & Space, and is a celebrity worldwide.
