During my early youth I wanted to be a writer. Instead I became an amateur photographer and later a professional as a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, then to make a living writing scripts for printed soap operas. That was not my idea of being a writer so my passion for traveling lead me to work for travel magazines. Later I got into writing short stories. A collection of short stories named Un Poeta al Paredón was selfpublished in New York. Several of those stories were published in Mexican magazines. After 21 years of being out of Mexico and traveling around the world I decided to come back to my country and make San Miguel de Allende, Mexico my new home. Not to retire but to move on with a new life, new ideas and perspectives. Coming to San Miguel , made possible all of that. Now I have published two books about local artists with my photography, one book portraiting all the colorful San Miguel and one novel La Dama del Silencio and have shown my photography in the
