M. R. Framboise is a New Orleans-based student organizer and a member of the steering committee of Liberate and Unite New Orleans Students for a Democratic Society since 2025. She is a student at Loyola University New Orleans and the author of The Starshine Essays, an ongoing collection of political and philosophical essays, poems, speeches, and more. As a member of LUNO-SDS, Framboise helped lead the fight against the far-right Turning Point USA on campus and has been a strong advocate in their current campaign for sanctuary campus policies.
