I have a passion for music and for the written word. It is for this reason that I have published books on a number of subjects, with the latest being the third edition of the Cliff Richard Recording Catalogue. I like to take a different approach, analysing the music as well as presenting the facts, which helps to understand the story behind the recorded material. I wrote my first novel, Puppet on a String, in 2003, inevitably influenced by my years as a member of the London Philharmonic Choir.
