Jim Tegelhutter

Jim Tegelhutter, PhD, has spent nearly four decades chasing the divine, decoding the absurd, and occasionally laughing at both. With 38 years in full-time ministry and a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Jim has led, taught, counseled, and occasionally survived everything from youth retreats gone rogue to leadership meetings that could’ve used a few more loaves and fishes. As the founder of Relentless Ministries, he travels, teaches, and reminds anyone who’ll listen that faith was never meant to be safe—it was meant to be lived loud, laughed through, and leaned into when it makes absolutely no sense. Equal parts theologian, storyteller, and holy troublemaker, Jim writes the way he preaches—with heart, humor, and just enough honesty to make the saints blush. Whether he’s unpacking the mysteries of Hebrews 11 or reminiscing about ministry adventures that would test even Job’s patience, Jim invites readers to embrace a faith that’s bold, imperfect, and beautifully absurd. When he’s not writing or speaking, you’ll probably find him mentoring leaders, building a new creative project, or enjoying a strong cup of coffee while plotting his next theological mic drop.
