‘Scent’ is a delicious tail of a fiery relationship when at first the Last Circulator can't stand the tribe's sarcastic and most dangerous Werewolf, however their feelings change to a forbidden love. In a world where Shape Shifters differ culturally as well as physically; B Wisetail and Declan Sabre find not only passion but absolution in their bloodlust-fueled desires. The Lokoti call Circulators the ‘Light People’ because of their unique abilities coupled with their auras which Shape Shifters can see. Then bake in Alaska as a sanctuary after World War Three, garnish with differing species of Vampires, other breeds of Werewolves and marauding humans. Serves one.

Aug 20, 2011~ Author’s Note ~I truly hope you enjoy my sci-fi, paranormal romance novel in the Circulate Series…
Jan 26, 2011I enjoy books that I want to keep reading for hours on end because I want to keep finding out what happens next. Scent is such a well-written and suspenseful book. I wasn't disappointed in this modern-supernatural romance. I liked reading the Twilight novels because of the romance and rivalry between Edward and Jacob over Bella. Scent has one such love triangle, between two werewolves, Grant and Declan, over a girl named Bianca. Bianca is from a family of circulators, which are people who can fight in the speed of light (think Matrix). These people can also travel through time and space. In Scent, the reader will visit a headquaters on the planet Mars, as well as attend a gala ball during Earth's past. I also like to read the works of great science fiction authors such as Michael Creighton and Orson Scott Card. Smith satisfies my hunger for science fiction by adding a perfect amount of technology, both real and creativly factual. Of course, this is all done smoothly while keeping a... More > romantic theme. Scent has it all -- steamy love, werewolf adventures, vampire battles, space and time travel and a whole lot more. What I like best, is the way it's done. It is written with lots of twists, turns and suspense. There are other books, if you can find them, in the Circulate series, but you can read this one as a stand alone novel because it has different people added with different adventures. I highly reccomend this book.< Less
Sep 19, 2010Scent is an awesome book that tells the story of an individual girl in a unique circumstance dealing with what we can only imagine about. The book has an excellent plot and awesome dialogue. I give it a 5 star rating. I kept on picking it back up again and again to the end. I originally thought that with the short amount of time I had I would take for ever to finish it, I was so intrigued It took me no time at all.
Sep 17, 2010Scent has everything you'd hope to find in a book. Fantastic plot, amazing characters, witty sacrastic dialogue and a little [just a tad ;)] bit of sexual tension thrown in. A feast for the senses and the discerning mind, 5 star story telling.
Sep 3, 2010I have read both Circulate(Book 1)and Scent(Scent 6)of K.R.Smith series and have enjoyed both of them. I really enjoy books about werewolves and vampires and the supernatural; yet this book surprised me in many ways of how the author could put the aspect across in such I way that's its believable and that you would think that it's not fiction. This Book I could not put down reading and I would take it everywhere. I enjoyed reading this book as originally I would never of read this style of book in my life; but once I read this book I was hooked and enjoyed the uniqueness of it. I would recommend this to everyone to read. I have let my friends read it and they have found it extremely interesting as well. I have enjoyed the characters in this book even though it is in the style of emails/diary entry's and letters, you can get the feel of the characters and can like and dislike them. I really liked both protagonists esespcailly the grumpy European Werewolf Declan and I like B as well. I... More > also have a soft-spot for the parents, family members, friends and though I never thought I would write it Grant Elm too! So, I recommend this to everyone to read or even give as a present!< Less
