Über Storytime Rhymes by Mike Gauss

Mike Gauss wrote the first of the Storytime Rhymes, Bailey’s Blue Jay, at the age of 14. The lyrical and rhythmic nature of this nursery rhyme stuck in his head as he grew up and made a career in media relations. After years of authoring business articles and ghostwriting copy for clients, Mike decided to apply his craft to more joyous pursuits - educating, empowering, and entertaining children. With a keen sense of observation, a childlike heart, and a passion for helping marginalized people understand, relate, and overcome the world around them, Mike released his first set of children's books for publication in December 2020. These lyrical rhymes for storytime about animals at play and things children see every day. These rhythmic poems will get stuck in your head and make for happy dreams when kids go to bed. Each nursery rhyme is vibrantly illustrated with a picture matching the words on each page. This is exceptionally helpful for early readers as they learn to sound out multisyllabic words. Flesch-Kincaid reading ease ranging from 75-100 / grade level ranking between 0-4. A portion of all author royalties provide meals, shoes and school supplies to the students at Kidsgear Infant School in Kampala, Uganda.
